until 1982 "old" Krónur/Aurar-value - 1983/2005 "new" Krónur-value with Aurar - from 2006 "new" Krónur-value without Aurar

From the year 2006 all icelandic stamps show only Krónur-value without Aurar. The base are two gouvernement directives from oct. 1st, 2003. The 5, 10 and 50 Aurar coins was invalid and no one is obligated to make or accept payments in Aurar ("Stamp News" 1/2006 from Postphil).
On the webpage of Postphil now we read, from oct. 1st, 2006 all icelandic stamps with "old" Krónur/Aurar-value are invalid. This are all stamps from 1973 to 1982: Michel-no. 471/591 or Facit-no. 508/628. It is possible to change old stamps for new ones before this term. (R. Daebel)
